I have just returned from the best Fam trip ever.....Grenada in the West Indies. I shall certainly be advising clients of this beautiful island and will return myself one day for a family holiday. I was with a great team and we toured most of the island.....visiting the chocolate factory, rum distillery, rainforest, waterfalls, the market, Fort George, Nutmeg Processing Station etc. Not to mention the lovely hotels we stayed in and visited and the food is to die for, especially at the Calabash Hotel where we dined in Gary Rhodes' restaurant!
We experienced "Fish Friday" where the locals enjoy fish meals and plenty of rum to wash it down with...brilliant! The trip also co-incided with The Jason Roberts Foundation Charity Football Match between the Grenadian XI and the Liverpool Legends (all ex-Liverpool players such as Bruce Grobbellar) - what a fantastic day - Grenada 1 - Liverpool 6 ! Then to "party-on" with them at Bananas night club..... I, unfortunatly, encountered a bout of sunstroke, due to the complimentary spa treatment, courtesy of the Spice Island Resort, where covered in oil from my massage, burnt in the heat of the sun on my way back to the hotel room for a shower. But I was well looked after by all. This will in no way deter me from returning....a well recommended holiday destination for everyone!
CPD - Date of Completion
Members are reminded that when you add your CPD points to your record please ensure that the date you enter is the date you completed the training - not the date you are logging it.
If you've recently joined ATP you can claim points up to six months before you joined.
Don't forget to add your points as you are going along. It's not that easy to remember what you've done when it gets to renewal time and it's good practice to keep an ongoing record of all your training and development so that you can easily identify any gaps or indeed demonstrate areas where you have built up your expertise.
If you have any problems logging your points give us a call on 020 31170549 or email administrator@travelprofessional.co.uk.
